Photo taken by my father in august of 1986 in Soviet Russia. Me, standing among poppies and crying, since I just took a bite of a cucumber, that had bitter skin.

I came across this photograph in 2018 and something shifted within. It was there and then that I made an emotional decision of becoming a photographer.
